Orientation was over and here comes the second week of school. My class is 1T20 and the people look friendly! ;-) Lectures and tutorials are starting this week and I was like damn blur during the first math lecture, that was becos I forgot all my math stuffs over the long holidays :/

After O's, great changes certainly did happen and few of my friends decided to venture abroad to study. Ruiying left for HongKong last month to live there permanently, and today it was Timothy's flight to Australia to further his studies. This makes me question myself in many ways, it does require a lot of courage to step out of this comfort zone.

Being the very usual crybaby, I STARTED CRYING WAY BEFORE HE CHECKED IN (Omg as im typing this my eyes are tearing again). I know this choice is good for him but yes you can't blame me because my tear duct is over active.

Saw a lot of my Chung Cheng mates in their new school uniforms!

Almost everyone is from NYJC haha.

Many times, we find ourselves in crossroads. Whatever the outcome it will be, we should embrace all challenges courageously. Farewell Timothy, for I am sure we will meet again soon.

New beginning

Hi!!

The posting results for JAE was out loooong loooooooooong time ago and it was only today, here I am posting about it! Well I am posted to my first choice, Catholic Junior College. As expected Peiying got in with me and coincidentally, Ferlyn too, got in CJC which was her 4th choice.

The orientation for CJC was fantastic! Especially during the finale, everyone was screaming and shaking! It had only been 4 days in CJC and I could say, I like the school. Not the facilities tho. I am not sure about the people, but the system, the culture, the atmosphere and the teachers, yes!

I was caught in flabbergast on the first day I stepped into CJC as their student. I expected few people from CCHY at CJC, but to know only 4 came I was.. shocked. In a good way, anyway. To start school anew was the reason why I came CJC instead of NYJC (which is affiliated to CCHY).

Started school with a blast, I hope the 2 following 2 years are going to be pleasant. My appeal for taking 4 H2 subjects failed but at the very least, I am contented to be taking subjects that I am passionate about.

Hongkong trip with my girlfriends.

Right, I had been back from Hongkong for two weeks. Besides waiting for the photos to be uploaded, I was feeling jittery all over before the release of results and after that, my mind was preoccupied with the daunting task of submitting my JAE choices.

Had countdown over there. Indeed this 5D4N with the 6 of them was an invigorating getaway. As soon as I came back I felt fresher and healthier.

Did lotsa shopping over there (duh!) but my wallet got stolen by some son of a bitch who ruined my trip :(

As breathtaking as the night scenery was said to be, I missed home v much.

And the perfect weather of 16degrees hahaha, I think nobody would not love it.

it was an idyllic winter with my best friends, & that could be all that I wished for. Couldn't find the right words to sum up this trip but it was just, Screams, Laughter, Exhaustiveness, Shopping, Food, Us... And

Summary of 2011.

It was 9th Jan yesterday and I thought I would sum up the entire of 2011 together in this post with the collection of results.

It felt surreal to collect my results after seeing many batches of seniors doing so in the past few years. In retrospect, O levels was easy but the preparations were tough. The changes in my life after collecting the piece of paper would not be immediate but slow and impactful. I always told others I had no expectations for myself but truth to be told, I wish someday I could enjoy the glory that 6 pointers got. They had been my role models, but however much I strive to be like them, I concealed my emotions carefully, and perfectly, knowing that expectations will be the root of all heartaches. Yes, I live my life by this quote.

I got a raw score of L1R5 9, and it is true when they said that the fruit of labor always tastes exceptionally sweet. :)

Year 2011 indeed past by in a blink of eye, like a gust of wind. There are times I felt bereft of hope, ripped of faith, but there are some which I felt over the moon. And finally, it was time to bid farewell to my alma mater, Chung Cheng High Yishun. People say that Secondary School life contains the happiest moments of one's life. The innocence of every adolescences can never be retrieve in any other stages of life ever again.

In Year 2011, the greatest change in me is I learnt to appreciate solitude. It is not everyday that you can sit in silence watching the world passes you by. You wouldn't notice how fast people's paces are as they stroll along the streets, or how rapidly people change their personalities and disfigure themselves without realising, or how much are people constantly hurting themselves without saying a word.

The most tormenting period is surely the 2 weeks study break just before the actual exam commenced. The pressure that I self-inflicted on myself, suffocated me. I built my own fortress and retreated back to my original spot, with self reproach. I could say I lost my social life to academics. My days turned to become mundane yet simple, but by plunging into this invariability, I lost lesser friends. For this, I would see the entire situation as a form of bliss.

Certainly, there are moments that are satisfactory, one of which is I picked up the hobby of reading books and dictionaries. Besides this, I became less egoistic. Things I failed to comprehend eventually became crystal clear to me. There is only one way to tackle human relations, and that is through sincerity. To be able to be open-minded enough to receive criticisms and accept sarcasms, that to me would be the highest level of inner peace that I wish to attain.

A new year doesn't mean a new beginning or a new me, but simply an indication to move in with life.

Friends

Life journey should be an adventure, a personal experience full of serendipity surprises, and with the lucky tendency, I found the most genuine bunch of friends that many people could be searching for in the entire life.

Retrospectively, it remains almost magical to be able to become best of friends with one another, and incredulous to be on such fine terms with Chuting, who waged a war with yours truly on Sec1 orientation camp. It is a hilarious and unbelievable sight to recall of when we both pulled each others' shirts and fists ready to punch into the face. The PSLs were gripped with shock, that two 12 years old children could be so rash and impulsive. As time gradually past, the bigot in my opinions became better to get along with, we established common enemies and eventually became class jokers, loving to bicker with teachers. Anyone would surely find us childish, but those days and class times were of utmost value to me.

Also to mention another remarkable friend, Pei Ying, always the most altruistic among my friend list. It was also the long and grueling exam period that put allies to the test and allowed me the rare opportunity to discern those with self-serving purposes from those with a true heart. To describe Pei Ying, I would say she is one who don't ask for anything in return, and would go above and beyond to help me be the best I could be. I have gained confidantes like her who would give me room to grow and willingly offer whatever resources for me to utilise, without expectations of remuneration.

Whether to be forever friends, that is beside the point, because the present is what matters most. Together with Aneka, Jingwen, Kailing, anorexic Xunlin, Yangjin and Zarchi, nine of us enjoyed the grandeur of time with one another's companionship.

Everyone is special in their own ways and we make one another strong. We all shared irrevocable and conflicting habits and tastes, like how nobody other than Kailing (and maybe Zarchi) could agree with me that smelly beancurd tastes and smells heavenly. On the other hand, it could be these differences that made us understand one another and cracked new jokes for us to remember. It is undeniably funny that Chuting talk and answer to herself in her sleep. It could all along been her idiosyncrasy and I am certain there are much more funny ones of everyone's for us to explore and expose.

Once you have started living life, you just can't get enough. I love my friends

My 16th birthday

So, they gave me a pretty unexpected surprise where I was supposed to go shopping with Peepee. And when we stepped into the restaurant, the restaurant played the HAPPY BIRTHDAY song. I didn't know it was for me and thought what a stupid song it was playing and when the rest popped out, i was caught by surprise..

Always with your around, I felt an abundance of joy ;) luv ya all for ganging up to "forget" my birthday and giving me such nice belated birthday surprise cos' I rly thought that this year's birthday is going to be.. mundane and normal, without any celebrations (LOL that is what I expected my 16th birthday to be). It was a bonus in my life to have you peeps around.

But sadly I had to withstand the hunger, cos I had my dinner beforehand as nobody told me we were having dinner tgt ;(

Happy 16th birthday to myself! :D

Can't believe I had yielded to this mundane lifestyle of preparing for the exams that I only really remembered and get excited about my birthday only one day before. Omggggggz look at what this is driving me into.

Basically, I did not expect much this birthdayyy as I know everyone is also busy with preparation for exams. :(

Patience with self is hope

Hi! The reason for my temporary MIA is becus my laptop is down! ): All along I thought blogger is only an interest, I never knew it subconsciously turned into an addiction.. Nvm! I'm now at Ana's place and for the time being I'll frequently come to her place to blog! So anyway my frequency of posts will not decrease cos', I had always been a regular visitor of her house =D

Anyway, HAPPY 46TH BIRTHDAY TO SINGAPORE, my country and my home! :D School celebration was gr8, (no pix cos I forgot to bring my cam haha) and I went to get my new camera after school. Ok its a long story of my cam but the gist is, I bought my new cam (Olympus EPL2) without mummy's consent and I've to bear the consequences myself- paying for it using my own savings!! :(

So sorry for all the words, I've not blogged for a long time that's why!

Sigh.. Not only is Olevels depriving me of my dearest sleep, leisure and play, it is also robbing away all of my Saturdays :( Darn I feel like we are dogs and slaves of this education system. Stardy stardy stardy everyday. What is my life becoming to man?! (More rantings of me on twitter LOL)

Literature Seminar from 9am to 4pm!

It was an enriching 6 hours. Did many activities, drawing, songs composing, drama, games, and...........

So the drawing activity is to draw objects to symbolise the protagonist's character!

And then we had this game where we (Me, Peiying, Jiaxian, Aneka) had to create sound effects and "wind" to make the teacher feel like they are in the story! The sound effects include wailing, clicking of matchets, sound of roaring fire, chantings and footsteps!

And the funniest part is where we had to put up a dance and we had to choreograph it ourselves!!! We did a tribal dance!! HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Not only does this seminar made learning more alive, the notes are also very useful ;) Since Sec1 I share an immense interest in analysing literature, so I really hope I can score well in it.

Btw Natasha (tuition friend) is a pure lit student and I was reading her Shakespeare's novel the other day! Friggin' awesome tho I couldn't really understand it ;(

Happy Birthday Kai Lin! (31/7)

Rushed home after Lit Seminar in school which was very fun and engaging (Next post!) and met the rest at Novena! So sorry everyone I was late for 30 minutes :O :O :O Now I have a feeling I can nvr get rid of Peiying and Jingwen in my life anymore cos THE 3 OF US ARE THE LATE QUEENS. Look at my atrocious sense of punctuality now, so I guess only with them around I won't feel so stricken by guilt.

Seoul Yummy for dinner! The first time I ate korean cuisine lol. Anyway I don't enjoy it cos the food is very spicy!

Godsis stayovered @ my place on Monday night and we went USS on Tues morn, while everyone is enjoying a lovely day in school. Haha!
PS: Godsis is my cousin, and my parents' goddaughter, so that makes it my godsis!

After taking the Battlestar Galactica, dizziness engulfed me and I freaking hell vommited there :(

Uknow the prev time I went with fav co., I once said I'll never visit USS anymore! The other time the Jerassic rly made me feel like fainting instantly, and obviously I did not take it again, and never take it anymore!

Actually all the rides there don't suit me! they go at extremely fast speed and comes to a halt which my body cannot handle ):

However the shows are still as excitinggggg!

And surprisingly, Mummy and hit off with Godsis better than me!! Usually mummy would show the menacing side of her one! Most of my friends can vouch for that, right Jinghui?? ;)

Anyway mummy got annual pass for me to USS! So I can visit USS unlimited time in the upcoming year!

I am someone who ABOSLUTELY HATE TO KEEP LONG FRINGE! Btw, for the 15+ going 16 years of my life, I've never kept any other styles of fringe other than Bangs! Many told me that I shouldn't always keep my bangz so short (I always cut it when it reaches my eyebrow), then I tell you this is what happens when my fringe is below my eyebrow!!!!! CENTRE PARTINGGGGG ;(

Chompchomp on the prev weekend with... DA BOMZ, Yap n Puan! (When did I start calling you all by surnames?) Hahahaha actually it is fun to call everyone by surnames...

Anyone notice when did Angry Birds became so overrated? The game very fun meh? I deleted the game long ago from my phoney!

All the coconuts I ate from everywhere can't be compared to those my ahma bought from the supermarkets for $1!

Ordered qutie a number of dishes, lala, stingray, oyster omelette, rojak, chix wings, and actually we all didn't think we ate alot lor, as all the servings are the smallest! Then the sumo size uncle beside us rly asked us why we 3 skinny girls can eat so much???! Then those uncles waiting for our table said "Jia ah ni zui!" (Eat so much in hokkien) *shake heads*

HAHA !

Settled all my meals outside and I am sooooo sick of Np alrrrrr ): Seriously speaking I think I even tried all the different stalls in the foodcourt, ate at each fastfood in Np each for AT LEAST 30 TIMES throughout this 4 yrs ):

Been accomplishing and doing things alone lately, taking transport alone, walking home alone, going out to buy things alone, so accustomed to not relying on anyone now (Exception Ana maybe). Alil sidetrack, since growing up n pri school I don't have any recollections of any periods when I'm not relying on Ana anyway!! at least physically, or mentally. I know this will sound exaggerating but with her nonchalant attitudes towards alot of things, she's the motivating factor that convinces me that everything will be fine. Haha. "I am beginning to enjoy alone time, much more than I already do. And pls don't think I'm weird. People always think it's weird when like they see people going out on their own. But I seriously do not see what's wrong. What's wrong with wanting to be alone for awhile? Being alone doesn't mean being lonely. What we fear is loneliness, not fear of being alone. So I guess why I tend to enjoy times on ma own alot is because I can spend time with myself but yet I do not feel lonely :}"

Hi! I really do miss the crazyye days in sec3! Do you? ;) I am always saying 2010 was really a BLAST, and I miss laughing at all our silly jokes, really. :>

Looking thru my photobucket albums and I found memories that are worth a king's ransom. Shall share some here, not all cuz some memories are really painful to keep n note the photos are not in chronological order!

First outing we had together. HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY KAILING! Picnic at Sentosa. Lovely pancakes of heartshapesssssssss. Sweetness eh? :)

Picnic at Marina Barrage hehehehe. Our love, laughters and screamings filled the air while playing our favourite game - Twister!!

Xunlin's birthday at Chompchomp. It was in the december holidays and many were overseas. However there is no such word as "boring" whenever we are all together :*

Khin Zarchi San's birthday celeb at Settler's Cafe!! One of the best outing we had where we laughed non stop throughout the 4 hours straight. Panda monium! Breast stroke! HAHAHAHA.

A day out shoppingggggg at flea, followed by icecream @ 313.

Peiying's 16th birthday spent @ NYDC, Holland V, with party hats and floral theme dress code :D

Lunch dates after school are equally memorable too! Our most frequent hangout place is def Upper Thomson!!!

CCHY cultural night @ RP. For me that was really a fun day and proved the worth of our school's performing arts! Drama and CO gwh de ok!! :D

What would you define as quality time? Sometimes a very random Saturday outing can be one too! Potluck at Zarchi's condo, chicken wings, sandwiches, great food and great people. :)

Kbox session just right after EOY exams wahahahah!!!! A total clash in songs we listen/sing but doesn't change the fact that OUR EXAMS WERE OVER!!!! Hiphip hooray!

Actual day of my birthday! It was a Tuesday morning, and they surprised me with a cake at my house just after I woke and brushed my teeth. *infinite hearts*

Jingwen's 17th birthday spent @ Universal Studios!!! Express tickets ftw yo =D The best part of the day, is us trying to light up trees at Canberra park but end up as epic fail and remember the story of my ribbon???

Netball camp 2010! Had really such a blast with the netballers. Can't sum up the 3 days in just words cuz it was way too awesome.

2G09 BBQ gathering! 2G is really the best kind of class that I can be in, classmates were like family members to me, but still have nasty jokes and dirty topics! Miss those days when going to school was really a joy. Awwww

And of cos not forgetting the best 3 days of my life!!!! 3D2N Malaysia KL trip with Jingwen, Kailing, Peiying and Zarchi!!! Then had stayover at Jingwen's place and Ahmei cafe the next morning for breakfast! :* Words are not enough to fill the love cuz I've really never felt such overwhelming happiness before ;)

Christmas! :) Most heartwarming homecooked dinner I ever had, with movie, logcake, dessert and Zarchi's present sharing session keke. Luvvvvvvvvvsss!!!

Today is the first time in the week that I went out.

There will be a new Forever 21 opening at Orchard Exchange next week/month! It is the 4th and the largest outlet in Singapore zomgzx. Got the date wrongly wtf!!! And oh, Orchard Exchange is just AT Orchard mrt! Can't imagine the crowd there when it really opens.

Had lunch at Wisma Food Republic and MY 菜饭 ^ costs $10! T.T Could have eat better stuffs with $10...

Aiya the same old malls, saw my classmates Joey and Wanteng ^^v dropped by FEP which I hadn't went for a long time! (1 year at least?)

I wish I were taller. Taller. Taller. Photos are deceiving cuz I think I looked very tall here.

hi. this post is drafted out via my phone! have not been updating any interesting things and pictures for a couple of days and i disliked it when i neglect my blog for too long! just a short one before i sleep, TIME CHECK 1.04AM.

I've finally got myself from the imprudent and improvident me onto the revision track. but frankly Singapore's education system is an abhorrence to me to a certain extent! to rephrase, i dislike how many people regard and judge one's future based on academic results. it'd be a blatant and biased lie if i say ITE graduates couldn't be equally successful as uni grads. technically the system here is so stressful and cajoled people into thinking: academics results are everything. there's one sentence my aunt said and i couldn't forget, academic result doesn't determine your successfulness but just guaranteed an easier job opportunity. SO TRUE PLS so what you get into an elite jc? so what you get a 6pointers for O's?? all the subjects and stress level here practically turn those creative and innovative people into lifeless geeks reading and memorizing cations, anions??? true that knowledge is of the most fundamental but skills are as important too! inevitably everyone got so flummoxed by the definition of success, and it does no help to alleviate tension of other problems a typical teenager faces.

OK this post is done to vent out the unspoken frustrations of WHY ARE WE STUDYING FORMULAS THAT WE MIGHT NEVER USE IN LIFE?? sorry to those who disagree with me, but rmb we're only 16years old, last year in sch. at this juncture we should be hanging out at town, hitting the beach every week, trying out different places for breezy and alfresco dining, enjoying the grandeur of life instead of rotting in the library everyday. -_- everyone gotta and should indulge in a little bit of relaxation, regain their composure and stop taking life so seriously! (abit of an irony here cus most of the time i think I'm the one taking things too seriously:/) sound extremely biase in this post so here's something more positive!! :) but on the other hand education is important too, if everyone gives no hoot about education, it would jeopardize the country's growth!! tsk and ok, hope this is not an abrupt ending but I've been pestering my mind to sleep since 3hours ago so off i go!!(: TIME CHECK 1.51AM (super hard to type long and wordy text via my phone!) goodnights!

We are the two ponteng kids!
Was in the middle of the English workshop talk, and we ran off during the break time just to go and catch a movie.

LADDALAND.
Caught it on the first day it was in the cinemas. I officially declare I hate GVs and it is so god damn scary to watch a horror film in a cinema filled with little and un-enthu people. For every horror scenes I tend to scream a little and me and Jinghui are the only two people screaming -_-

Unstoppable rocking chairs, black cats with green eyes, crooked teeth old women, stormy and rainy nights, generally the gist of of every horror films but I think it is worth a watch! =) Would rate a 3.5/5.

TODAY IS THE END OF ECP (EXTENDED CURRICULUM PROGRAMME) WHOOOOPS but I will probably spend my days camping at the library for the next two weeks. Till then!

Attempted to go for the "Grab all you can" fashion buffet at Haji Lane.

Anticipated a huge crowd since there are few thousand likes on the facebook page, so we were having second thoughts about it. Besides, it wouldn't really be worth it if you pay to buy clothes that everyone is wearing, no?

One of the weekdays last week, had a short meetup with Natasha! I think I'm suffering from serious stm coz despite cracking my brains, I couldn't remember which day was it!!!

If you noticed, I'm wearing the same top n shorts as the post on 29/5, that is cos I didn't send my clothes for laundry. Save laundry space!

I really like having a close friend that is out of school! More freedom n she'd never get to know how bitchy/ugly/shag I am when Imma in school! This reminds me that I've been meeting dearest Ana again and it certainly made me really happy :-)

Heee btw I think imma weird girl~ I like travelling arnd! If I meetup with her, both of us would have to travel quite a distance cos we are like spreaded across Singapore. Clue: Our midpoint area should be CityHall!

Shouldn't have watch @ Yishun GV cos half of the cinema was filled with CCHY people, esp the graduating batch! Many 4F's peepo tooooo. Ok i really think Timothy is very funny! I hope that my future husband would be as cute as him!!!!

KFP2 IS AWESOMEEEEEEE. Giggled throughout, cartoons really have their ways of making me real happie ^_^ I was equally fascinated when I watched Rapunzel last yearrrrr so niceeeee.

Took all of us uhm... Quite a while to reach this solitary restaurant located @ Binjai Park! When I say quite a while, it is really quite a while! Hahaha. Retro & vintage furnishings give a "family" feel!

However tension surrounded us and not much words were spoken throughout the meal, so it wasn't quite a harmonious meal but with good food.

Ordered the family pizza! NOMZZZZZ SEAFOOD + HAM & MUSHROOOOOOOOOOOMMM. Y MY FRIENDS NO LIKE MUSHROOMS. Captivated by the pictures of a full mushroom piza!

Wanted to go "Cheeky Chocolates"! This was real stupid. Couldn't find the cafe and was really PEKCHEKKKK *steps feet*, called up the place to find out that the place has closed down for 5 months! wtfff

CCHY Fund raising bazaar today.

If you asked me what I had been doing for the annual bazaars for the past 3 years in CCHY, I rly could not remember all except the sales of mini tees in 2008! So after asking arnd, 2009 was the sales of photoframes and 2010 was cup noodles. To be frank I did nothing in all 3 years and all I did was idling around the canteen hahahah *guilt*

I find the fund raising tee that we paid $10 to be ugly, but At least I got my fav colour :D Oh btw I hate boys (most) who wear pink! They look faggishly gayish.

This time round, I really walked around the school and buy things! =D Within a span of 30 minures, me and Jinghui spent $15 all on food and we tried food from every stalls! Campbell soup from 3G was really diluted :(

Everyone is reusing ideas and there is a lack of innovation. Every year n everywhere it is the same old things. Either ice cream, hotdogs, waffles, cup noodles, cupcakes, nothing much new. But I know how troublesome the entire thing can get, people like mi would def not want to get involve in those class discussion things so yahhhhhh...
went into the haunted house of 1G. Omfg despite Q-ing for 45mins, the $1.50 was very worth it coz all of us had so much laughters!!! Jinghui let down her hair, acted like ghost and scare all the "ghosts" instead!!! I am truthfully astounded and dumbfounded to have a really crazy classmate like her!

This year was a lil different from last year. There was a sports carnival but don't have this year. Boooooooooo

Didn't went to school tuhdae. I really hate going to school when the whole school's exams are over! Not like O's are over... But some teachers are overseas, For eg, TMM will be away for 10 days and her double maths took up like maybe 1/4 of the timetable.
PS: I HATE FREE PERIODS.

Ok so went back to nihon mura (my workplace last december). Don'tknow why I decided to do so either. one of my colleague was a Taylor Swift's fan too when I was one! Then he would bring the "Speak Now" album to play in the restaurant, heh! ;)

The first thing that comes to mind is I'd rmb how I'll always sneak into the kitchen to reply to messages. hahahahah stoolpig me.

Nihon Mura was the first "official" job I had. Previously I had worked door to door sales, and I even helped my friend's mum to distribute flyers for HALF A YEAR !! And, in my opinions the 3 months in NM were an unpleasant working experience for me.

I remember there was this supervisor who REALLY don't like me! Not being paranoid or exaggerating here but she was super hostile to me when she's super approaching to everyone else. I don't blame her for it coz I don't like to smile last time. Hahahahha.

I'd DREAD going to work and luckily I quitted early. Becoz of this, I get to know the "another side" of how things work unlike how things in school always work, and frankly speaking I have a lil bit of phobia if I were to find a job in another place next time.

Note to future self: Must find a workplace with people who always smile!

Ytd evening went for a swim with Jiaee, followed by spending a good 2 hours @ xinwang! :D I consider it quite an affinity to still be good friends with someone from my primary school! Luvvvvs;) (No pictures)

Had a quick lunch today with Natasha and Shihui at Novena! Presenting the camwhoring queen NatashaZack!!!!!

Am very honoured to know a "rojak" friend like her. What I mean is, she is a mixblood from Dutch, Indonesian, arab, java, Malay, Chinese (6 types), and her boyfriend is a mixblood from Java, Malay, Egypt, Scotish & ... (6 types).

Today is obviously a stay-home Sat for me bcoz of the really bad condition my face is in now. Even worse than ytd x10. The only consolation I can get is it is now raining wahah!!! I only luv rainy days when I'm at home coz it is cooling B-)

Look at how my skin peels. Ouch! If you say that this is not that worse enough, you seriously deserve to die! @_@ Here I am enduring the pain and itch it gives me. Ytd night I couldn't even bite on my banana sponge cake coz even biting gives me pain! (The part where it peels is near my jaws) I looked utmost disgusting, and one reason is the skin it peels is just right under my nostril and without looking properly, I think it superly looks like the nose dirt -_- Considering to wear a mask if I'm going out these two days.

I hope. I hope. I hope, I will become a pretty girl again after all these tortures! Hopefully can make it to school on monday also... BB!

Gave school a miss today. (A very random picture)

If you were to ask me one thing that I regretted the most in the short span of 15 years of my life, I would be sure to answer you this ONE thing that I really really regretted. :'(

And, that is to not take good care of my complexion when I was younger.

Went to the National Skin Centre @ Novena last week. Actually my mother had been promising to acc me to seek treatment for my complexion since 2 years ago....... And apparently after delaying and much laziness, words weren't put into actions.

Now my face really machiam sunburn and the skin is all peeling off after eating the medicine and applying the cream that the doctor gave. Haihaihai how am I going to go out and tuition later in this gruesome and hideous state........................

So, the point of my story is, for people out there, pls take good care of your skin and don't be lazy! Impossible for me to have flawless complexion anymore. End off with a sad sigh!

Happen to know that a girl from YJC committed suicide after receiving Alevels' results, and there was a link to her website just beside the forum, so as curiousity arouses within me, I entered her blog.

"PSLE, I fucked up. Couldn't get into dream secondary school.
'O' Levels, I fucked up. Couldn't get a place in dream polytechnic course. Ended up transferring to YJC.

I got my dreams crushed again, after seeing my 'A' Levels grades yesterday. Bye bye to NUS FASS and NTU Humanities.

I already predicted my grades but it felt so real when I saw the statement of results."

In our ambitious, contesting and competitive country, I knew that the stress level for majority of students is quite high but I never really expect any normal teens to commit suicide because of not performing well academically. Say that I am shallow, nvm. This YJ girl was cute-looking and leading a typical cheerful(?) girl's lifestyle, so I guess her death must come quite unexpected.

Life is so unpredicted sigh! One day it might be good, another it may be bad. So live the present and cherish whatever we have! I don'tknow why but my heart goes out to that girl who commited suicide, partly bcus I know how it was like to feel the disappointment deep down to the bone.

Rest in peace!

I look really horrendous in spectacles. #fml!!!

I wasn't so dominated by envy till Natasha told me about her boyfriend from some very elite school (smart people always have pluspoints) taking double sciences and 3rd language, currently aiming for SAJC. How her boyfriend which she define as handsome would hold her by the waist and plant kisses on her cheeks when walking down Orchard Road. And then I looked at the way she smiles and the excitement she gets whenever she got a call from him, asking her to get home early, instant jealousy struck! Ok this post was abit out of the blue but I rly wish to experience the thrill she got!! When you looked at that special someone and saw the world in their eyes! I am not love-deprived (!) but sometimes what my awesome friends can give is just different from what the all these can bring.

It was only a few weeks ago that i got to know that natasha is really a very delicate girl! I was a bit caught by surprise when she asked me what is 'cb' hahahahah! If imma a guy, i would def like decent girls!!! =)

Shall stop my silly thoughts and mindless daydreams and get back to revision mode. Vesak day holiday tmr yay!

Lunch at Xinwang@Northpoint with netballers for a mini gathering.

I freaking love my toasts! Yknow, nice breads/toasts are the best food that can fill my half-filled stomach. :D

Then, it was an impromptu decision to go to cck Kbox with Adeline and Ziwen. Hahahah twitter made all these possible cus me and Adeline would always discuss about outings tgt there =D

Spent hours singing my lungs out hehx. The last time I visited Kbox was.... erm I think it was last december :# Anyway, Kbox games are so addictive!!! I was multi-tasking the whole while.

I'm so motivated for everything now, because of.... Hahahahahah! The thought of scoring well for O's overwhelm me so much becuz of this! Will elaborate on it if I really reached my goals n if that day really comes, it would be rly interesting, Stupid loser.

For now, I shall just rest well for school tmr. Cya :D

Miss wong was being real sweet too. She customized class stickers for everyone. The sticker is pasted on my calculator now :D

Don't know how to express my love for you. :) I'm so not going to publish a long mushy post for you!!

Gave out 4 cards in the past week. One for Shihui, Aneka, Miss Wong and Ziwen. Hahahahha and I think all these are the best way to retain memory. :) The longest and most sentimental card I had written is a freaking 64 pages, and I've shed countless of tears while writing them in the late nights. :(

Maybe I shall end off my post with the tallie and mixblood. Heeeeeeee luvya for always making Friday nights so enjoyable.

It was Friday the 13th ytd, supposingly to be a day of bad luck but my day proved otherwise ;) I'm seeing light that 2011 will be a great year!

Markinggggggg day!!!!

I realised I had been spending 80% of all the non schooling days with Peiying. And, I'm awarded the most steady+efficient girlfriend!!! wahahaha B-)

So,
How are you people spending your day? =(
Mine was spent 5 hours in the school computer lab doing my coursework T_T Resulting in missing the outing with my 2G09 classmates.

On the bright side, I FUCK-NALLY COMPLETED MY 60 PAGES COURSEWORK!!!! I think that entire shit wasted almost 50 hours of my life, staying back after school promptly n coming back during my dear precious holidays. I feel how the feeling is like to come back for school on a non schooling day!

Kekekex this must be the best schooling week of my 4 years of chungcheng history! 3 schooling days and 1 of the days is practical exam which wasn't difficult! Feeling verie motivated n happy this week and hopefully all the following weeks are as follows. :>

Holiday for polling day today!

Dropped by Scoopz @ Upper Thomson with Peiying.

Comfy furnitures with nice and innovative boss :) He is trying out new flavors and he gave free ice cream to all the customers to collect feedbacks.
There are even games available for customers to spend quality time with their companion(s)! Boggles, monopoly deal, cluedo. Not much variety but evident that efforts are being put in.

Spent an enjoyable 4 hours in it wahaha!

Talked about the future again! Thought of running a cafe together with the others. Ziwen will run the cafe, peiying being more artistically-inclined and might be doing media-related jobz will design flyers/brochures and do advertisements to the public. (The rest is up to you to think hehe)

The good things about being too in love with one another is there are plenty of room for imagination of the future.

Nothing can go wrong with the cafes/restaurants along Upper Thomson! Just pop into any and I am sure there will be some interesting findings. :D

Spent the previous Saturday at the town area catching up with Peiying & Jingwen. It was a pity the rest couldn't make it but we sure had an enjoyable and good food session at "Strictly Pancakes", located @ Prinsep Street :D

I liked the cafe actually. Cosy and comfy are the best policies ^^ however, the aircon is damn not strong and I'm perspiring like sh!t at first

Whatcha say about this? Blackforest pancakeeees. Friggin' awesome. The flakes melt on my tongue on first bite.

Ready for food yo! Love the chocolate-peanut butter milkshake. Albit too strong of nutty taste but fine for me cuz I luv the taste. 3 pancakes are really filling and I felt sick at the second one. Sighhhh a lil sad for the loss of my appetite! Very sure I can finish everything last time :-( Nowadays, I feel nauseous at the sight of food and I can go a whole day of not eating anything without feeling any tinge of hunger. Need to adjust my digestive system, pretty a torture to not feel anything at food yknow!!!!

So here's me being food > friends. Isolating myself with my pancakes lol.

Left for suntec. Walked to many places after that, eg esplanade, raffles city, just to realise my sense of direction is very bad. I wish i had the ability to lead others instead of just following ;( Yuppy that probably marks the end of that day! :D

Love from daily dramas

I am never a child with a perfect family. I have family problems that I doubt I will ever trust anyone or open up to anyone so much that I would share my stories with.

When I was younger, I hated my mother, I would lash out vulgarities at her. I had been breathing under her limitless restrictions, fighting for air under her endless boundaries. I was once befuddled, bewildered, I am the only child, and with the age gap of a mere 23 years, why couldn't she understand me like how older mothers understand their children? During my lower sec days, the number of times I was being chased out of the house was countless bcoz I never reached home before the curfew and my mother refused to grant me freedom. There was this full year where I stayed with my grandparents.

Then, someone told me gaining trust is the only way to gain a foothold in the family, but trust was never something you can gain overnight. Over time, I kept to my promises, started mugging hard and proved my worth as a daughter. I would bring home chocolates and lil things that my parents liked, buy a new wallet for my dad when his is old and torn. I would embrace my mum tightly before going for any stayovers or camps. There is no guarantees that raising me up is going to be easy but 16 years ago, she took the risk that would cost her a lifetime. Now, my family and I work on this trust basis because they know what I am doing with my life.

Just two days ago, I overheard a phone conversation between my mother and her friend. My mum said she is happy about my "on-going matureness", but she would never pin too high expectations of me again. For that instant my heart turned incredibly sour, I wish I had NEVER made her disappointed in me before. Frankly I had never expect her to stop pinning (that high) expectations on me, and I guess expectations are the root of all heartaches.

Sometimes I failed in appreciating her, but when the thought of heading home comes in, I will smell the warmth of home even miles away. I love you mum, there will be no me without you ;) Happy mothers' day!

Lovely afternoon

Being a person with short attention span, I don't like staying at home to do my revision. I will end up using the computer or spend the whole day sleeping :/ I'd much prefer going out for study sessions either with friend(s) or alone, it is fine! Today, I chanced upon a very conducive n nice n quiet cafe!!! :D

Last time when my friends are busy, I'd take train down to more oolu town area like eh clarke quay to spend time with my homework(rarely), but bcuz of the inconvenient transportation and long train ride, I feel very lazy to do so anymore.

So anyway, I think I am a person who can concentrate in most kind of environment, just about whether I want to anot! Throw me into a coffeeshop, quiet library, friend's house, own house, I can do productive work at anywhere. However I prefer listening to people around me chattering, I like listening to couple's conversation, humming along to the background music etcetc. And sometimes maybe 50% of my free days I would go exploring different places alone! (Anyway I don't have many free days too)

Spent a very shiok saturday and to realise I can get more things done when I am aloneeee hahahaha.

On the contrary, I am really very afraid I might not score well for O's, or what if mishaps happen?? What if I accidentally failed my English and can't get into a JC? :( The thing I fear the most is to try but end up failing.

Will def stay tune to the television at 9.30pm today!!! Although I am not very into politics and I did not read up the newspapers about the election, I support PAP! Without them, I don't think Singapore can go so far and I think the current lifestyle for Singaporeans are perfectly fine so I don't see a need for changes... My thinkings are only based on what I heard from moi friends + xiaxue's blog so might be a lil ignorant yeahh but whatever.

Hi!! I forsake my previous blog with 586 posts since 2009, and created a new blog! Feeling quite fail, determined to leave blogger so went to try out onsugar and livejournal each for 3 days, figuring here and there how to use and meddling with the codes, end up getting everything screwed. Call myself a computer studies student, so embarrassing! So, it looks like I still can't break the curse of staying with blogger.

New start, new blogging style, new thinkings. Finally able to get rid of unwanted memories in the other blog.

I love how Learning Media bond the three of us together!! Natasha & Shihui. Hm some interesting background info of them perhaps. Shihui is a freaky with the height of 176cm, Natasha is a holland/dutch/britian mixblood, but I can't remember clearly which! Haiiiii the weekly friday 2 hours tuition lesson are so not enough to sustain our relationship :( Btw I love fridays coz of them, Natasha probably won't ever get fed up at me for whining too much!
